Covid 19
Bargoed Sight Centre was delighted to re-open on Monday 29th June following our closure during the Red Phase of the Covid-19 epidemic.
During the current Amber Phase all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of our patients and we can welcome you for both acute and routine eyecare.
At this time we are not undertaking new contact lens fits to protect both staff and patients. Existing contact lens wearers can be seen safely.
Full PPE will be worn by staff during your eye examination. There are screens in place at the reception desk, the slit lamp and the retinal camera. All equipment is sanitised before and after every patient examination and the frames are disinfected regularly.
We ask that you help us too:
Do NOT attend if you, or any member of your household, have any symptoms of Covid 19
Attend alone if possible
Bring a face covering
Sanitise your hands on entry
Observe social distancing at all times
